This lecture explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and Eastern philosophical traditions through the “Eastern Wisdom Extracting Machine” AI proejct. The project investigates how AI technologies can analyze and interpret traditional Chinese landscape paintings (Shan Shui) and geomantic concepts (Feng Shui), contributing to the evolution of Noosphere. Using AI technologies, the project transforms two-dimensional art into immersive experiences. It raises philosophical questions about epistemology, the nature of intelligence, and human-machine collaboration. It suggests a new paradigm to converge traditional Eastern wisdom and modern technology, questioning the next evolution in human perception and knowledge systems, extending Vernadsky’s concept of the Noosphere into the digital ag.
